The following are ground rules for the Adult Monthly Gargoyles Art Contest, most are easy and straightforward, but if you have any questions about one, let us know! These rules are valid unless stated otherwise by the special conditions of each month's contest.

---> First and foremost, the AMGC staff holds the right to deny any and all entries for the reasons stated below. Artists will be notified and given reasons as to why entry was denied. Note: Having an entry denied does not mean you are banned from ever entering the AMGC contest again! In fact, we will try everything we can to get your artwork shown! Only in extreme cases will banning ever be considered.

---> All entries must in some way contain a gargoyle (fan created or original) or a character from Disney's Gargoyles as the main subject. Fan human characters or any other sort of non-gargoyle fan character entries will not be allowed. This is a Gargoyle art contest. Good Entry Example: Demona in skin-tight leather taunting a bound Elisa Maza. Bad Entry Example: Unknown/known fan human character posing in a dress in front of gargoyle statues.

--->Entries must always at least PG-13. R to XXX is accepted and encouraged. This contest is for adult artwork, so don’t be afraid to let it all hang out. No one is going to think you’re weird or creepy for drawing this stuff, and you shouldn’t feel like you are either. That’s the whole point of AMGC. Now, adult artwork does not always mean porn. (Although we like porn, and do accept and encourage it here, but AMGC is also about things besides sex. Violence, for example) If adult artwork isn't your forte, then go over to MGC (the original, and family friendly version of this contest.)

--->Entries must follow the theme and rules for the month you enter, as well as the rules that are always in effect for AMGC, which are:

1. No minors. (Artists or site viewers) By entering the site you’ve sworn to be 18 (or 21 depending on your physical location) and allowed by law to view adult material. If we find otherwise, (i.e. your mom catches you on AMGC and complains to us) then your art will be removed, your forum account will be suspended, and you will be asked to come back when you’re legal.

2. No minors. (Drawn or digitally created) Child porn baaaaaaad, m’kay. Please make sure your subjects are at least biologically eighteen if they’re going to be in an AMGC submission.

3. No plagiarism.

4. Have fun.

--->We kindly ask that entries be no more than 200KB (if possible!) to keep webpage loading time down. Preferred entry size is 72 dpi.

--->New Artwork Please!
Although we will most likely accept drawings you've previously done, AMGC encourages you to draw new artwork for each theme. However, artwork previously submitted and accepted into MGC or AMGC contests will not be accepted into a second topic.

--->HTML page entries are allowed and encouraged! Just let us know when you enter!

---> Entries must follow some genre of art.
They can be 2D or 3D, sculpture, hand drawn, computer drawn, photo manipulated (if the photographs used are your OWN), and/or painted. If you have an entry that might not fit the above, ask us. Screen Manipulations (i.e., making a collage out of actual artwork, advertising, or screenshots of the Gargoyles show) are not permitted UNLESS specifically stated by the topic.

--->Under NO circumstances will plagiarism be allowed!!
If a submission is found to plagiarize someone else's work, the submission will be taken down and be ineligible for voting. If a winning submission is found to be a plagiarized piece, the winner will have their award stripped from them and lose their title. Multiple cases of plagiarized entries will result in the artist being banned from AMGC!! If you have any questions concerning this, contact us.

---> Be a good sport!
AMGC's purpose is to encourage creativity, promote awareness, discussion and creation of adult artwork in a friendly atmosphere, and provide inspiration for gargoyles artists to draw each month, not to show who are the 'best artists' in the fandom. So please show good sportsmanship whether you win or lose. Flame wars will not be tolerated.

--->Important Dates
Entry Submission Begins on the 1st of each month, and ends on the last day of each month. Voting Begins on the 1st of each month, and ends on the 15th. Winning Entries will be announced between the 16-20th of each month.

--->Entries will compete for Most Creative and Most Artistic and be voted for through an online ballot.

--->Winning entries receive a graphic award, and winning artists will have their webpage linked in the 'winners' link section.

Do your best, and good luck. : )
